Shanghai technology service Center of The Association For Manufacturing Technology (AMT) officially settled in Waigaoqiao International Machine Tool Center in Shanghai Free Trade Zone on November 9. It marks the further development of Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone's service of "Made in China 2025" and building an international intelligent equipment service industrial park.
Founded in 1902, AMT has become an important service agency and industry spokesperson in the international machine tool and machinery manufacturing industries. In 2004, AMT settled in Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone and introduced the concept of "service center" for the first time. After more than a decade of development, AMT has brought more than 150 U.S. well-known manufacturing enterprises in China, of which 80% enterprises have successfully "hatched" from AMT Shanghai Technology Service Center to the entity investment transformation, set up the joint venture and wholly owned enterprises in China.
The AMT Shanghai technology service center moved into the newly completed Waigaoqiao international machine tool center, completed the upgrade of version 2.0 ,which will show the U.S. industrial network , bring more advanced processing concepts and technology, and will play a positive role in promoting International Intelligent Manufacturing Service Industry Park.
