With the progressing of China's develop-the-west strategy, various problems have been revealed in those developing process. Statistic from the Commercial Commission in Ningxia Huis Municipality showed us that 3 problems were troubling the local M.E. industry.
First, no products diversity, lower grade and technical content. Machine tools that we can manufactured are limited to middle and large-sized ones, machine tools units is still a gap that we need to fill. We are falling behind foreign manufacturers in aspects of technologies, such as bearing manufacturing craft, material, lubrication, automatic apparatus's function and other manufacturing technologies of integrated unit.
Second, few necessary technical innovation, long interval between new ideas and new products. As a result, it's difficult for the enterprises to meet the demand of the changeable market, which lead to the enterprise's lacking of competitive power.
The last one, inadequate circulating and project construction funds. Various financial problems is the biggest troublemaker among the local M.E. enterprises. For example, high amount of receivables, unbalanced proportion in fund using, terrible financing channel, inadequate necessary investment etc. Additionally, no efficient preferential loan program have been established to support the M.E. enterprises, which further deteriorate those enterprises' financial problems.
