Detailed description

SDG series plummer is recommended for very heavy duty services and continuous operation. Stringently checked and tested, these come in horizontal split type with end covers and four mounting holes of oval shape. It’s necessary to specify requirement for located bearing type or non-located bearing type because loose locating rings are not used. The shaft diameter is from 125mm to 530mm.

For bearing housings where strength of grey cast iron material is still inadequate, these housings can also be supplied in cast steel or spheroidal graphite iron (ductile). Such bearing housings can support approximately twice the load permitted for grey cast iron housings.
