NUTR-TYPE SUPPORT ROLLERS

The internal design layout of the non-separable NUTR-type support rollers is similar to that of double row cylindrical roller bearings.

Since the outer ring has two shoulders these support rollers can accept greater thrust loads.

The loose ribs of these types are retained by cupped pressed steel washers press-fitted into the outer ring. These pressed steel washers also act as a gap seal.

NUTR-type support roller feature optimum load rating due to their complement design but require frequent re-lubrication.

For extra heavy duty applications where heavy shock loads occurs NUTR-type support rollers are available with an extra-radially thick walled outer ring.
