The NU319ECM/C3VL0241 INSOCOAT cylindrical roller bearings are primarily composed of an inner ring, outer ring, cylindrical rollers, a cage, and an electrically insulating coating. The outer surfaces of both the inner and outer rings are coated with an approximately 100μm thick alumina coating using a plasma spraying process. The suffix VL0241 indicates a coated outer ring, and VL2071 indicates a coated inner ring. NU-type bearings have flanged outer rings and unflappable inner rings, allowing for bidirectional axial displacement and featuring a separable design.
INSOCOAT cylindrical roller bearings possess excellent electrical insulation properties, effectively preventing current flow and avoiding electro-corrosion damage. They achieve a minimum resistance of 50MΩ at 1000VDC and can withstand voltages up to 3000VDC. They also feature high radial load capacity, low friction, and a long service life, and installation and maintenance are no different from ordinary bearings.
