They primarily carry combined loads which is main in radial, and limit axial displacement of shafts or housings in two directions, so they can be as locating bearings in twdirections.
The performance of type TDO bearing is the same as two single-row tapered roller
bearings in back to back mounted.
Doublerow tapered roller bearings have a small number of parts and high stiffness,and are easy to be mounted anddismounted, therefore, they are usually used in the applications with changing loads, such as decelerators and coiling machines.
