The GE8PW Radial spherical plain bearings consist of an inner ring with a spherical outer surface and an outer ring with a spherical inner surface, forming a sliding spherical pair. Some models have a self-lubricating gasket (such as PTFE fabric) on the inner surface of the outer ring or the outer surface of the inner ring.
Radial spherical plain bearings can withstand heavy radial loads and impact loads, automatically compensating for angular alignment errors between the shaft and the bearing bore.
