Axial bearing washers form the running surfaces of axial needle roller bearings and axial cylindrical roller bearings. They can also be ordered separately and combined with axial needle roller and cage assemblies or axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies.
Axial bearing washers are used if the adjacent machine parts cannot be used as a raceway for the rolling elements but are sufficiently rigid and geometrically precise to allow the application of axial bearing washers.
Axial bearing washers are made from through-hardened rolling bearing steel, the running surfaces are designed as rolling element raceways.
