With the idea that industrialization can rich the town and villagers, the government of Wawo village Pulandian city focuses on improving the investing environment and attracting more enterprises to join in the bearing industry. Now a large-scale bearing industry zone has formed, which is the major source of the fiscal revenues of this village.
With more population but limited land aera, Wawo village is one of the poverty villages in Dalian city. There were only eight enterprises 5 years ago. The major incoming of villagers only came from agriculture.
Then, a group of new leaders of this village were enlightened by the successful operation of the private enterprise ----- Dalian Metallurgy Bearing Plant. They realized that industrialization is the only way to be wealthy. Centering on the metallurgy bearing, they attracted investment to develop their bearing industry.
With their endeavor, a bearing industry zone formed, which covers an area of 2 square km. 48 enterprises were attracted to settle in this zone during the past five years.
