In March, Wanxiang Qianchao began to carry out a reform to reduce their forging cost. So far, they have successfully cut their forging cost by 20.5% and increased productivity by 21.44%, both figures hit a record high.
In order to improve their manufacturing capibility and expertises, Qianchao have introduced great number of advanced equipments from Germany, Russia, Switzerland and other countries, such as cold pressing machine, electrical & hydraulic hammer, die forging machine, high speed jolting machine etc. As a result, Qianchao did strenghen their technological power but they were troubled by substantial expenses and long return periods, which caused their increasing forging cost.
Therefore, the company setup specialized team to control that soaring cost since Feb. this year. Then, the team began to readjust the forging department's organization; delegate powers from manager to on-spot directors, so as to enhance the flexibility of production lines; adopt new payment calculation policy to raise workers activities.
In short, the company chose to reduce their forging cost by raising productivity.
