Wanxiang Group announced recently that their QC brand Bearings has passed the ISO14001 environment system certificate. The ISO14001 just like a permit for enterprises to enter international market. It also symbolized the company's high level management model and general competitive power.
With the growing emphsis placed on environmental protection, ISO14001 has become an technical trade barrier for Chinese goods' entering foreign market. To meet the demand of both domestic and foreign customers, QC bearings constantly improve their management system and planed for passing the ISO14001 certificate at the end of 2004. In early Jan 2005, the company set up an advocating group of the environment management system and fully planed and publicized the passing of ISO14001. They set a goal to pass in 9 months.
The essential purpose of QC bearings is to improve their internal environment condition but just to pass the certificate. So it's necessary to make all the staffs be awared of environmental protection. The company held various professional training courses to advocate environmental protection and to pubilicize protection measures. Also, they intensified internal management through improving disposal system, such as draining waste liquid and gas through different pipes; solid waste should be grouped before disposal. In the company every worker could easily distinguish various solid waste by a classification card. With the card which was made by the company, workers could clearly tell the differences between various waste.
