In June, Wanxiang Jinggong Co.,Ltd became the formal and synchronized supplier of Australian customer and Chinese G company for the same upscale S type car. By the end of July, they again received orders from the Australia customer for two of their products that will be brought onto market in second half of this year. Mass production of parts for upscale vehicles witness a vigorous development in Wanxiang Jinggong, putting them a step foward in OEM business.
The above mentioned upgrade car is for administrative use, an perfect combination of modern technology and humanity design, geared to Australia, America and China's market. It has been on sale in Australia and is expected to have its debut in China until May 2007.
In Nov. 2004, both parties have made effort in talking with each other about the cooperation of the S type car. Then a month later, Wanxiang and their counterparty reached an agreement and began to talk about the detail with Australian purchase and quality engineers.
At that moment, this cooperation project is an so-called open issue, bbecause there is nothing specific about the car which is under futher improving. What they can do is to develop the products including bearings and flange plate, in accordance with original data. It is a job for a company who must be able to develop products keeping pace with world advanced manufacturer. It is a big challenge for Wanxiang Jinggong, of cause, it is of great importance to them.
Jan. 2005, purchase manager and quality engineer from Australia visited Wanxiang Jinggong to consult on the problems coming out in their earlier talks. Meanwhile, they confirmed the delivery time of sample products. The visit indicated that foreign customer have accepted Wanxiang Jinggong for their design, test and manufacturing ability.
In order to develop the satisfactory products, Wanxiang Jinggong carried out Tracing Management for this "open issue", holding weekly meeting to study pace and realization of it.
As a result of Wanxiang's hard work, they finally finished the development of contracted items. From Jan. 2005, this project being formally launched, to this June, realizing mass production of the items, Wanxiang Jinggong complete the contracted work in less than a year and a half. The foreign engineers were impressed by Wanxiang's efficiency and strength, said:"Even an initial inspection activities will last longer than 18 months."
Wanxiang Jinggong Co.,Ltd is subsidiary of Wanxiang Group, mainly producing auto wheel hub bearings, auto steering bearings, clutch bearings, gearbox bearings etc.
