Strong Result of Construction Machine Sales in China 1st Quarter

During the 1st quarter, there were strong results of construction machines's sales in China. Sales of excavators and bulldozers increased faster than any other machines.

Sales of loading machines increased by 10% from the same period last year; that of excavator increased by 30%. Producer of bulldozers also saw a great growth in their sales, such as Shantui Construction Machinery Co.,Ltd whose output in the first 2 months growed by 55% from 2005; and Xuanhua Construction Machinery Co.,Ltd having output 22% higher than the same period last year.

Sales of concrete mixer met a slight upturn, but there are still great potentials to be exploited.

From a long-term view, Chinese construction machinery industry will maintain a good momentum of growth. The demand for construction machines will be kept in a relatively high level.
