Quick dismounting of cylindrical roller bearings

Mounting and dismounting large bearings in rolling mills can be both a hazardous and time-consuming operation.

CHG EAZ induction heaters are reliable tools for safe and quick dismounting and mounting of inner rings of large cylindrical roller bearings. The EAZ heats the inner rings evenly by inducing eddy currents while the roll neck remains cold. When dismounting, the EAZ heater helps prevent damage to shafts and inner rings, which often occurs when other methods such as gas burners are used. Dismounting is made simple and hardly takes more than three minutes - irrespective of ring size. The CHG EAZ heater can also be used for mounting inner rings. The CHG EAZ helps ensure cost-effectiveness in many ways. Quick mounting and dismounting saves man-hours, reducing costly down-time. As the risk of damage to the inner ring is minimized by using this heater, spares inventory can be reduced.
