Qianchao Bearing Launch Second Stage Construction Program

March 18, Wanxiang Qianchao Bearing Stock Co.,Ltd launched their second stage construction program in Huainan Economic & Technology Development Zone. Being invested over RMB100 million, the construction will be finished within 2006 with an annual output of nearly 30 million sets of special bearings.

The second stage construction program is a major strategy action of Wanxiang Group to build a large specialized bearing base in Huainan city. Then, further openning the nearby bearing markets in middle-west China.

Wanxiang Group, located in Zhejiang province, is a multinational enterprise, being listed in China Top 500. They mainly produce bearings, braking system and other auto parts. After acquiring the former Huainan Bearing Co.,Ltd in late 2001, Wanxiang built the Wanxiang Qianchao Bearing Stock Co.,Ltd in Huainan Economic & Technology Development Zone. Now, annual bearings output of this company has reached 20 million sets.

It is estimated that annual output and sales of the second stage program will be 50 million sets and RMB500 million respectively.
