LYC and ZYS support the development of rail transit industry in Luoyang city

 Association of Rail Transit Industry in Luoyang city was officially established a few days ago, marking the rail transit industry in Luoyang city has gotten on the track of rapid development.

Association of Rail Transit Industry consists of 30 member units from the city rail transit vehicle suppliers, spare parts manufacturers to related scientific research institutes, social organizations etc., on the principle of equality, cooperation, free will and mutual benefits. The Association will play a vigorous role to connect all the members, integrate their superior resources of development, design, manufacturing, sales, spare parts supply etc, actively improve the industry chain and cooperation between the upstream and downstream industries as well as the local supporting capacity etc, and assist the member units in promoting the development of their industrialization and the expansion of their scale, so as to advance the healthy and rapid development of the rail transit industry in Luoyang.

It is known that Luoyang city has initially had the ability of supplying raw materials of rail transit vehicles, producing key parts and components, assembling and debugging rail transit vehicles, constructing the rail traffic facilities and engineering equipment and overhauling locomotives etc. For example, CRRC Luoyang Locomotive Co., Ltd. is the largest railway locomotive maintenance enterprise in China; Luoyang CRRC Rail Transit Equipment Co., Ltd. is the only supplier of metro vehicles in Henan province; Luoyang LYC Bearing Co., Ltd. has possessed the ability of bulk production of axle box bearings for metro vehicles developed by itself; ZYS Bearing took the lead in mastering key technologies of high-speed railway bearings in China; Aluminum alloy materials manufactured by Luoyang Midas Aluminum Industries Co., Ltd. were successfully used for the manufacturing of metro vehicles; Henan Tong-Da Cable Co., Ltd. is the only enterprise certified to produce catenary contact wires and carrier cables for high-speed railways in Henan province with the capacity of bulk production of the above-mentioned products. It is favorable to speed up the development of urban rail transit industry in controlling the highest point of the development of high-end equipment manufacturing and building up new industrial competitive edges.
