Under the present favourable economic environment, Xibei Bearing Group still suffered from increasing internal expenditure.

During the first half 2006, their managerial cost amounted RMB51.27 million, grew by RMB29.36 million year-on-year, growth rate hit 134.01%; operating cost were RMB6.01 million, 2.92% higher than last year; financial cost RMB6.54 million, decreased by 23.34% year-on-year. The three costs eclipsed Xibei Bearing's first-half profit at all.

Xibei Bearing Group Co.,Ltd is the largest bearing producer in west China. They had been dominant in railway bearings until formed a joint venture with FAG and finally were forced to quit the company leaving FAG their market share and technologies of railway bearings.
