Harbin Bearing Group Coperation(HRB) has planned a expansion project for aerocraft bearings production. According to the HRB, about RMB660 million yuan will be invested to fulfil this project and after the finishing of this project, their annual output value, operating margin and revenue will increased by RMB1.16 billion, 230 million and 122 million yuan respectively.
The new aerocraft division will be a general base integrated with maufacturing, maintenance and testing section. Its design annual capacity of aerocraft bearings is 30 thousand sets; capacity of ceramic and semi-ceramic bearings reach 50 thousand and 100 thousand sets per year respectively.
In recent years, China's civil aviation industry developed dramatically, so dose the domestic demand on aerocraft bearings and related maintenance services. Statistically, China civil aviation industy need about 14.4 thousand aerocraft bearings per year. So far all those bearings are imported from overseas.
Additionally, ceramic and semi-ceramic bearings are also in short supply in China. For this kind of bearings can be widely used in many areas, there are great potential in ceramic bearings' market.
