Where there is a rotation, there is a bearing. It's reported that HRB Group has provided dozens of various bearings for Shenzhou VI(Divine Vessel) manned spaceship which is ready to launch in a near future.
As the earliest and largest manufacturing base of bearings for military industry in China, HRB Group has developed into a power through manufacturing military bearings. They won honors in Chinese aerospace industry for their assistance in the launch of Long March II carrier rocket and Dongfeng series missiles etc. In 2003, China successfully launched the Shenzhou V manned spaceship on which over 20 bearings of 9 different kinds were supplied by HRB Group. So far, two of HRB's aerospace bearings have won national reputation.
Ma pinghui, president of HRB special bearing subsidiary, said that they have never stopped carrying out technical transformations and equipment upgradings, so they have taken the leading position in developing new bearings for a long time. Due to the massive trials in developing rockets like Shenzhou V/VI and long preparatory cycle of bearing which is the basic parts on the rocket, delivery of this kind of products should be finished one or two years in advance. Exactly which kinds of bearings that HRB supplied might be equiped on the rocket or spaceship will be clear after the successful launch.
