Henan University of Science and Technology set up a teaching practice base in Zhejiang Jingli Bearing Technology Co., Ltd.

The opening ceremony of the teaching practice base, the cooperation project for teaching and research between Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College of Henan University of Science and Technology(hereinafter referred to as HUST) and Zhejiang Jingli Bearing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jingli Bearing), was held in in Jingli Bearing company on March 18. Mr. Zhouyu, Executive Vice President and General Secretary of China Bearing Industry Association(CBIA), Mr. Wang Kan, Deputy Chief of Luqiao District in Taizhou city attended the ceremony to unveil the teaching practice base. Mr. Ma Wei, professor of HUST Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College and member of HUST Party Committee signed the cooperation agreement with Mr. Cai Zheng, General Manager of Jingli Bearing, which was witnessed by experts from CBIA and leaders of Luqiao District in Taizhou city.



Zhejiang Jingli Bearing Techology Co.,Lt, founded in December, 1994 is specialized in producing various tapered roller bearings. The company has a construction area of 15000 square meters and fixed assets of RMB 60 Million yuan with an annual productivity of 10 million sets bearings. It has reached the international advanced level in cold stamping technology applied to washer of tapered bearings.The company emphasizes the cooperation of production, teaching and research, and has established close cooperative relations with universities successively, such as HUST, Zhejiang University of Technology, committed to the development of bearing technology and equipment and obtaining many national patents and technological achievements. 

Henan University of Science and Technology (formerly named Luoyang Institute of Technology) is a comprehensive university featuring strong technical advantages, with liberal arts, science, agriculture and medicine in coordinated development. HUST is the only university in China which sets the major of bearing with distinctive features in bearing design and performance analysis, bearing performance testing and testing technology, bearing manufacturing techniques and intelligent manufacturing equipment etc. It has trained more than 3000 graduates and postgraduates, most of which have grown to be technical backbones of bearing enterprises, and many of which act as leaders in bearing enterprises. Therefore, HUST has been honored with “Whampoa Military Academy in the Bearing Industry”(Whampoa Military Academy was the most famous military academy in China in 1920s ).

HUST setting up a teaching practice base in Jingli Bearing company marked the further cooperation between the the two parties.
